Kernow Veterinary Group is looking for a small animal vet to join our team. This role is full-time, 40 hours over a 4-day working week, allowing for a great work/life balance. We are open to part-time applicants too! Our current team consists of 22 small animal vets across five sites, along with a dedicated farm & equine team.
We seek someone to complement our supportive team, which includes certificate holders in Ophthalmology, Dermatology & Behaviour, as well as new graduates under the IVC graduate academy. We provide referral services in Behaviour, Ophthalmology & Dermatology.
All sites are well-equipped for diagnostic and surgical services. We run our own OOH for inpatients, supported by an RVN and nursing staff 24/7 at our main site. We collaborate with a neighboring practice for emergency OOH night work. The role involves contributing to the OOH rota for in-patient care and weekends, currently 1:10 weekends.
Enjoy Cornwall's outdoor activities like riding, cycling, surfing, and walking. Good transport links are available. We are part of the Vet GDP scheme, RVN training centers, and active in the Cornwall Veterinary Association, including a young vet network.
