There are no night duties at St Mary's as we are covered by Vets Now. The rota is Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 6:30 pm (with one half day each week), plus a 1 in 3 Saturday morning. There are regular clinical meetings and frequent informal case discussions. Appropriate support is supplied, dependent on the needs of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate should be able to work to a high standard and have experience in consulting, routine surgery, and case workups. You must be able to cope with sole charge, although in general, this will only happen on a Saturday morning. Appropriate support and training is available.
