About Us

Paws Colchester is an independent, well-established practice located on the edge of Colchester—a vibrant, historic town with excellent amenities, access to countryside, and proximity to the coast, including Mersea Island. We enjoy strong rail links to London and Norwich, offering a relaxed coastal lifestyle combined with city access.

Our team is close and collaborative, comprising five highly skilled Registered Veterinary Nurses who support clinical work and run nurse-led clinics. Our front-of-house team includes three experienced receptionists dedicated to providing top-tier client service.

We are open to tailoring the role to match your strengths and interests, with a varied caseload suitable for experienced vets or those looking to develop. Mentorship and ongoing support are integral to our culture, helping you thrive.

What Makes Us Different
  1. Genuine flexibility supporting work-life balance
  2. A collaborative, welcoming environment where everyone's voice matters
  3. High clinical standards emphasizing quality over quantity
  4. Support for further qualifications and CPD, including a Certificate in Ophthalmology
