Job description

We are looking for a full- or part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Bradley Stoke. Will you thrive in a bustling hospital environment as part of a large, friendly team?

Find Your Future With Rowe Vets

Our full-time role is 40 hours per week, over 4 days (with some early finishes), and includes participation in our weekend rota. You will enjoy a varied schedule of consulting shifts, surgeries, and in-patient care. We are also open to part-time applicants and can tailor a rota to suit your needs.

At the Rowe Veterinary Group, we prioritize work-life balance and have implemented measures such as employing twilight vets, structuring rotas for admin time, and fostering a culture that discourages staying beyond your scheduled hours.

Be Part Of Our Team

Our hospital team is dedicated to coaching and development, with several vets pursuing advanced training. We support personal growth, including funding certificates, and are happy to train vets in hospital work, ultrasound, surgery, dentistry, or other areas of interest. We promote a collaborative culture where ideas are shared and support is given. Some of our vets hold Certificates in medicine and surgery, and others are working towards them. We also support recent graduates and host EMS students regularly, contributing to the veterinary community.

Our tier 3 RCVS-accredited hospital offers excellent facilities, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and endoscopy. We pride ourselves on clinical excellence and providing compassionate, patient-centered care. You will join a well-established team of 10 veterinary surgeons, experienced nurses, and a supportive staff.

As part of Rowe, you will have access to our referral department, providing services in Medicine, Ophthalmology, Surgery, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Imaging, Neurology, and Dentistry. We also have a dedicated out-of-hours team ensuring continuity of care for our patients.

What's Next?

The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy first-opinion practice and be eager to join a large, collaborative hospital team. For questions or to apply, please contact our Talent Partner, Maizie, who will guide you through the next steps.
