Job summary

inspiring vet care's Brighton clinic seeks a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join full-time, delivering high-quality care with a varied caseload. You’ll work with a large team and have access to CT, ultrasound, dentistry, and on-site nursing support within a flagship hospital setting.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills, share knowledge with colleagues, and contribute to the clinic’s culture of excellence while meeting 40 hours per week and rotating bank holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.

We are seeking a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at New Priory Vets on a full-time basis.

Our Brighton Clinic is based within our flagship hospital in central Brighton. The clinic provides a comprehensive range of general practice veterinary services including medicine, surgery, radiography, CT, ultrasound and dentistry along with the support of nursing clinics - all bolstered by excellent hospital facilities. Patients of our Brighton clinic can also benefit from the on-site support of Brighton Veterinary Referrals if additional expertise is required.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 8am - 6pm
• Fair share of bank holidays and weekends
