Job summary

IVC Evidensia is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join New Priory Vets in Brighton on a full-time basis. The role involves delivering high-quality patient and client care within a well-equipped clinic that offers imaging, dentistry and on-site nursing support.

You will work 40 hours per week, with shifts from 8am to 6pm, and participate in a fair share of bank holidays and weekends. Join a collaborative team with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a veterinary degree and be registered with the RCVS (or eligible to register).
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive approach to learning, openness to feedback and development.

We are seeking a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at New Priory Vets on a full-time basis.

Our Brighton Clinic is based within our flagship hospital in central Brighton. The clinic provides a comprehensive range of general practice veterinary services including medicine, surgery, radiography, CT, ultrasound and dentistry along with the support of nursing clinics - all bolstered by excellent hospital facilities. Patients of our Brighton clinic can also benefit from the on-site support of Brighton Veterinary Referrals if additional expertise is required.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Working Hours
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shifts between 8am - 6pm
