Job summary

Hillman Vets, part of inspiring vet care, is recruiting a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join our Lydon branch in Birmingham. The role offers a well-balanced caseload of both surgery and medicine, based primarily at the Lydon site with occasional cover at the Scott (Great Barr) branch.

Here at Hillman Vets, it's been an exciting period of growth following the acquisition of Lydon & Scott Vets into our family. As a result of this growth, we're looking for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at the Lydon branch. The role offers a well-balanced caseload of both surgery and medicine. The position will be based primarily at the Lydon site, although there will occasionally be a requirement to provide cover at our Scott (Great Barr) branch. Ideally, we're looking for a candidate to work full time, covering 40 hours per week over 4 days. There's also 1:5 Saturday mornings (09:00 - 12:30). No out of hours or on call required.

About Us

Our practice is fully equipped with the modern facilities you'd expect, including digital X-ray (including SignalPET AI-assisted interpretation), ultrasound, an IM3 dental machine, and an in-house laboratory, to name just a few. You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team consisting of 1.5 vets, 2 RVNs, and 1 receptionist.
