Job summary

Axe Valley Vets in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our established team. The role mixes consulting and operating days with RVNs, ANA’s and a supportive client care team to help you deliver high-quality patient care.

You’ll work on a varied caseload, develop your clinical interests, and benefit from a collaborative culture with strong teamwork and flexible hours, including one in ten Saturday mornings and no OOH shifts.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration or eligibility to register.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive learning approach and openness to feedback and development.
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently or collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• As a Veterinary Surgeon, deliver high standards of patient and client care across a varied caseload.
