Axe Valley Veterinary Practice in Weston-super-Mare is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our established team. The role blends consulting and operating days, supported by RVNs, ANA’s and our client care team to deliver high-quality medicine.
You’ll have the chance to develop clinical interests across medical and surgical cases, with a 40-hour week across 4 or 5 days, one in ten Saturday mornings, and no OOH or full weekends.

Your role will be a mixture of consulting and operating days with a team of RVN’s, ANA’s and Lead Receptionist and client care team to support you throughout the week.

Join a close-knit team that works together to provide the best care possible for our patients. Our Axe Valley team comprises our Director of Practice, Clinical Director, plus 10 Vets with a mixture of experience and newer graduates too, 9 RVNS, and our supportive admin team.
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
