About us
The practice is going from strength to strength and is an extremely successful business, providing a first-class service to our loyal client base, having been RCVS accredited ‘Outstanding' for Client Care and Inpatient Services.
The practice itself is based in a stand-alone building on a busy retail park with ample parking and popular amenities nearby. We're also only a 5-minute walk to the train station, close to the town centre, and just 1 hour away from thriving tourist destinations such as Exeter, Bath, and the coast!
The team
You'll be joining practice owner Claire, a multi certificate holder, and working alongside an incredibly experienced and supportive vet team including David, who has experience owning his own practice and is a brilliant teacher ready to mentor any less experienced colleagues. You'll also be supported by Marian, a 16-year qualified vet with a passion for surgery, and our wonderful team of nurses, VCA, and Client Care Advisors.
Our culture and the role
Claire is a big supporter of having a great work/life balance, understanding the importance of wellbeing, which is essential for the team to provide the care they do. This role is offered as a full or part-time position, with a clear diary structure and lots of team catch-ups factored into the day, as well as 20-minute consults as standard. The practice also closes at 6pm several days a week, and the weekend rota is just 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
About you
