Job Description

Introduction

Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for internal medicine or imaging to join their team in Bristol. This is an ideal opportunity for a vet with over three years of experience who thrives in a collaborative and progressive environment.

Working Hours / Rota

All vets work a 4-day week with rotating shifts: 8:00–17:30, 9:30–19:00, and 10:30–20:00.

Role Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering preventative services, diagnosing and treating sick or injured pets, and providing high standards of clinical care. A strong interest in internal medicine or imaging is preferred. The role also involves excellent communication with clients and effective collaboration with the clinical and non-clinical team.

Team Size

The team comprises 5 vets led by a Head Vet, supported by a Head Nurse and 5 additional RVNs, along with a dedicated Client Experience Team.

The surgery is modern, purpose-built, and fully equipped with the latest veterinary technology. The environment is designed to promote calmness for patients and comfort for clients, while supporting staff satisfaction and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate

A Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally with a surgical interest or a focus on internal medicine or imaging. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential.
