Job summary

CVS Veterinary Group is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for FirstVets Veterinary Centre - Aldridge. The role is permanent, 40 hours across 4 days, with no out-of-hours. A varied small animal caseload and access to advanced in-house facilities are provided to deliver gold-standard care.

You'll join a supportive team at Aldridge, near Birmingham, with strong career development and ongoing CPD opportunities, and a focus on client care and teamwork within a CRC- accredited practice.

Life at FirstVets Veterinary Centre - Aldridge

Here at Firstvets, Aldridge we are looking for an experienced small animal Vet to join our three site, Tier 2 RCVS accredited practice. You will share our passion and dedication to provide clients and their pets with gold standard care.

Aldridge is a charming town located just 10 miles away from the bustling city of Birmingham. With its close proximity to the city, you can easily explore all that Birmingham has to offer, from its vibrant cultural scene to its world-renowned shopping and dining options. Additionally, the town is only a short 30-minute drive from the airport, making it a convenient location for travellers.

Our facilities include access to a dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, ultrasonic dental scaler and polisher, and digital X-ray, giving you everything you need to deliver outstanding clinical care.

The role is permanent role working 40 hours a week across 4 days with a share in the 1 in 3 Saturday rota with the following Friday off. There are no out of hours. There may be the ah-hoc requirement to work at our newly opened Streetly site.
