Job summary

CVS Vets is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for an onsite role in Melton (Woodbridge). Full-time, permanent (part time considered) with negotiable hours. Competitive salary up to £64,000 (DOE).

You will lead on surgical and medical cases, collaborate with a skilled team, and grow through extensive CPD and colleagues’ support. Join a first-opinion practice with strong facilities, a supportive culture, and opportunities for leadership or specialist pathways.

• Minimum 2+ years' experience as a small animal vet.
• Lead on surgical and medical cases, and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.

This position would suit an experienced small animal vet, preferably with a minimum of 2+ years' experience. The role involves primary care OOH consultations, receiving member practice case transfers, inpatient care, medical work ups and surgery. A strong medical knowledge is required and experience in routine and emergency surgery. You will possess good communication skills and have a passion to deliver excellent care and client service.
