Job summary

FirstVets Veterinary Centre – Aldridge in Aldridge seeks an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our four-site team on a permanent basis. The role is 40 hours per week across four days, with a 1 in 3 Saturday rota and a Friday off; no out-of-hours work.

The practice offers state-of-the-art facilities and supportive colleagues. You will work with a well-equipped team across our sites, delivering high‑quality care and taking lead on varied cases.

Here at Firstvets, Aldridge we are looking for an experienced small animal Vet to join ourthree site, Tier 2 RCVSaccredited practice. You will share our passion and dedication to provide clients and their pets with gold standardcare.

Aldridge is a charming town located just 10 miles away from the bustling city of Birmingham. With its close proximity to the city, you can easily explore all that Birmingham has to offer, from its vibrant cultural scene to its world-renowned shopping and dining options. Additionally, the town is only a short 30-minute drive from the airport, making it a convenient location for travellers.

Our facilities include access to a dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, ultrasonic dental scaler and polisher, and digital X-ray, giving you everything you need to deliver outstanding clinical care.

The role is permanent role working 40 hours a week across 4 days with a share in the 1 in 3 Saturday rota with the following Friday off. There are no out of hours. There may be the ah-hoc requirement to work at our newly opened Streetly site.
