Job Description

Introduction

Our client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team in a well-equipped site located in a convenient area.

Working Hours / Rota

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays.

Role Description

The role involves delivering high-quality clinical care during consultations and procedures, maintaining clear communication with clients, and adhering to regulatory and operational standards. The successful candidate will also provide mentorship, complete thorough clinical handovers, and contribute to the wider clinical community.

Team Size

The team includes 1 vet (Branch Partner), 4 nursing staff including a HRVN, and 1 receptionist.

Practice Details

The practice is situated in Telford, which offers excellent local amenities including shopping, bars, and restaurants. It’s approximately 40 minutes from Liverpool Airport. The team works in a supportive, collaborative environment with a focus on high clinical standards.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered, confident in both consultations and procedures, and experienced in working within a team. They will possess strong clinical leadership, be proactive in sharing best practices, and support the development of nursing staff.
