A rare opportunity has arisen for a permanent full or part-time vet to join the team at Vets for Pets Cumbernauld!
With our lovely vet Alice starting an internship at Glasgow in August, we are looking for a new vet to join our team.
You would be joining our team of 4 vets—Claire and Brian, who are partners, along with Gemma and Elisa; plus 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, and 2 client care advisors.
Our practice has been open for over 5 years, expanded recently with a new CT scanner, allowing us to handle a broader caseload, including orthopaedic and CT referrals.
We offer opportunities to develop your skills in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery, with support for certificates if desired.
This role suits both experienced and recently graduated vets, with support tailored to your needs. Consultations are 15 minutes, with extended 30-minute options for complex cases.
Weekends are shared on a 1 in 4 rota, with no OOH coverage as we use Emergency Vets Glasgow. The work schedule is flexible, typically 4 days a week with a fixed day off or 5 shorter days, and overtime is paid if needed.
The starting salary is £36,500 for new graduates, up to £50,000 based on experience.
