Small Animal Vet – Independent Practice

• Full-Time or Part-Time Options | No OOH | Supportive Multi-Vet Team

We're working with a friendly, independent small animal practice with three self-contained branches in North West Manchester. They’re now looking to welcome a Veterinary Surgeon to their growing team.

What’s on Offer:

• Full-time (40 hrs/week) over 4, 4.5, or 5 days – flexible options available
• Part-time applicants also welcomed
• No OOHs
• Weekends on a fair 7-week rota, with time off in lieu for weekends

About the Practice:

• 100% small animal caseload, with a varied mix of medical and surgical cases
• Excellent facilities including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, electrosurgery, and more
• Strong team of 4 vets (including certificate holder) and all RVN nursing team
• Opportunities for sole charge at times (with support available as needed)
• Structured rota to promote work-life balance and individual needs
• 15-minute consults as standard, with flexibility for longer where needed
• Regular one-to-ones, tailored CPD, and ongoing support

Ideal Candidate:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Some post-grad experience preferred but confident new grads also encouraged
• Strong communication skills and team player mindset
• Competent in routine surgeries (neutering, soft tissue, dental)
• Keen to grow clinically in a supportive, hands-on environment
