The Package
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in Kent, as they grow their modern and busy practice.
This role offers flexibility, with full or part-time options available. The position includes 1 in 3 weekends on a fair rota basis, with minimal sole charge and no out-of-hours responsibilities, ensuring a great work-life balance.
The practice offers a supportive and collaborative environment with a talented clinical team and excellent non-clinical support. The practice has a variety of clinical interests, with two vets holding certificates in medicine and surgery. They provide a wide range of services, including routine surgery, soft tissue procedures, and some basic orthopaedics. The clinic is equipped with digital X-ray and ultrasound, and the practice is open to purchasing additional specialist equipment if needed to support the team.
The successful candidate will be confident with routine surgical and medical cases and have a personable and approachable nature. They will enjoy building relationships with clients, patients, and the team. Experience in surgery or diagnostic imaging would be beneficial but is not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (3+ years qualified) to help shape and develop the practice. The practice places great value on professional development and offers support for postgraduate qualifications, CPD, and training in areas of interest.
