Our well-established and fast-growing practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Sidcup Vets for Pets!
Hayley, the practice owner, qualified as an RVN in 2006 while working in a busy veterinary hospital. She has been with Vets for Pets for over 11 years and joined Sidcup in 2022 as the Head Nurse. Since then, she has become the practice owner. Along with the team, she provides excellent pet healthcare and customer service to clients.
You will join an existing team of 3 full-time Vets, 3 RVNs (including Hayley), SVN, Veterinary Care Assistant, and 5 Client Care Advisors. The clinical lead has a keen interest in exotics and handles a variety of exotic cases.
We’re located conveniently on Sherwood Park Avenue, with easy access to the M25, surrounding areas, bus routes, and the local train station. Danson Park, a lovely green space, is within a few minutes’ walk, ideal for enjoying in the sunshine.
We seek an experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills, confident with all routine surgical and medical cases. Special interests are welcomed and supported. The practice offers clinical freedom and the chance to work with a varied, loyal client base, working up cases to a high standard.

This is a part-time role, 20-30 hours per week, ideally with 8 or 10-hour shifts. 1:4 Saturday mornings are non-negotiable; no out-of-hours work required.
