Job summary

PDSA's Gillingham Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, welfare-focused team. You will perform a mix of consultations and surgeries across soft tissue, orthopaedics, dentistry, ophthalmology and medicine, with opportunities in emergency care.

The role offers a flexible working pattern with part-time hours considered, a generous CPD allowance, and a supportive environment at a purpose-built hospital in Medway.

Qualifications

• Must be MRCVS registered.
• Experience delivering high-quality patient and client care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures and consultations.
• Manage a diverse caseload across soft tissue, orthopaedics, dentistry, ophthalmology and medicine.
• Contribute to emergency cases and complex surgeries as needed.
• Utilise clinical software to record and review patient data.

The rota includes approximately one in four Saturday mornings, finishing at 12pm.
