Job summary

Location: East Sussex

Contract: 6-month FTC (possibility to extend or make perm) | 20 hours across 2 days | No OOHs

Life at Claremont Vets (Wainwright Road)

Claremont Vets is a friendly, community-focused small animal practice offering the best of both worlds, with excellent transport links to Brighton and London, easy access to the south Downs, and the beach just a 15-minute walk away. Supported by a highly experienced team of Vets, RVNS, Student Nurses, and support staff, the practice has a strong surgical focus while also welcoming vets with consulting interests, creating a flexible and collaborative working environment.

As an RCVS-accredited Small Animal Practice with ISFM Silver Cat Friendly status and committed to achieving further fear-free accreditations, Claremont is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Equipped with modern facilities including ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, and laparoscopic equipment, alongside vets who are currently working towards advanced qualifications in medicine and surgery, the practice is passionate about development.

The role is 6-month fixed term contract (with the potential to extend or be made permanent) working 20 hours a week across 2 days with a share in the 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota with TOIL. There are no out of hours.
