Job summary

West SussexVeterinary Centre in West Sussex is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced team. The role offers 36.5 hours over 3.5 days with a 1 in 5 Saturday rota and requires flexibility to cover both Chichester and Rustington branches.

You will lead surgical and medical cases, develop clinical skills further, and contribute to shaping clinical standards within a supportive, collaborative environment.

  • Work primarily at Chichester and Rustington branches with some sole-charge duties.

About you

This role offers 36.5 hours over 3.5 days, with flexibility available, and a salary of up to £55,500 FTE depending on experience. There are no on call or out of hoursrequirements, and you will be joining a friendly, supportive team of five vets who are sociable, hardworking, and collaborative.

The role includes a 1 in 5 Saturday rota (9am-5pm) and requires flexibility to cover multiple sites, although the majority of time will be spent at the Chichester and Rustington branches. Some sole charge will be required, so prior experience working in a clinic setting is preferred, however we will consider new graduates. The team includes certificate holders and is committed to supporting further professional development.

The practices are based in West Sussex, a highly desirable area in the south of England known for its beautiful coastline, as well as its proximity to the South Downs National Park, offering plenty of outdoor activities and a great work/life balance.
