The hours will be 17 hours per week, working Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00am to 6:30pm. Additionally, you will work 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8:30am to 4:00pm, averaging 18.75 hours per week.
As the first point of contact, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. You will be joining a small, close-knit team that looks after one another, creating a supportive and friendly environment.
Your duties will include general reception duties, dealing with enquiries, answering the phone, making appointments, and filing.
Our tier three hospital is based in Oswestry, with a branch practice in Rhos. Both practices are RCVS accredited. Our New Foundry branch in Johnstown was established in 2008 and has recently moved to a new location at 60 Stryt Las.
We have two separate waiting rooms to provide a calming space for nervous animals, a modern prep room where animals are prepared for surgery and minor procedures, separate dog and cat kennels to minimise stress, temperature control throughout the year, vet beds for maximum comfort, and a spacious, well-kept garden ideal for exercising in-patients.
