Job summary

City Vets are seeking a friendly receptionist to join our team. Based primarily at the St Thomas branch, you will also work across four sites as needed, supporting client care and administration.

You will collaborate with the Client Care Manager to ensure an outstanding client experience with a positive, professional attitude. The position is permanent and part-time (27–32 hours per week), including Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

• Greeting clients and their pets in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Diary management.
• Maintaining accurate client records in line with data protection regulations.
• Day-to-day administrative duties.

Job Title: Receptionist Location: City Vets, mainly based at our St Thomas branch but working across all four sites will be required on occasion. City Vets, part of Linnaeus, are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate receptionist to join our friendly and forward-thinking team. In this role you will have the opportunity to enhance your customer service skills. The role requires a caring, confident and mature approach to all aspects of veterinary practice and client care. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards expected throughout our exceptional team. You will work closely with the Client Care Manager to deliver an outstanding experience for clients and visitors. An essential aspect of this role is to maintain a positive and friendly attitude. This position is a permanent part-time role working 27-32 hours per week, to include Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week. The role is varied and will include (but is not limited to) the following: Greeting clients, and their pets, with a friendly and helpful manner Diary management Maintaining accurate client records in line with data protection regulations Day to day administrative duties. Communicating with clients, colleagues, and the wider business face-to-face, through email and telephone Maintaining the organisation and hygiene standards of the reception areas Processing payments in various forms Processing repeat medication requests.
