A veterinary practice in Margate is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and the public. Responsibilities include creating a warm and welcoming experience and covering holidays at the Birchington Cattery. The ideal candidate should possess great communication skills and be a team player. We are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary receptionist to join our team at Thanet Vets Margate and Thanet Vets Birchington. The position also requires you to cover any holidays at our Birchington Cattery. You will be the first point of contact for clients and the public both on the telephone and in person, demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the Practice.
We are a small animal first opinion practice based in Thanet Kent. Our main branch is our Thanet Vets Margate site and we have a small consulting branch in Birchington. Our Birchington clinic also has a Cattery attached.
To be considered for this role you must be an enthusiastic and caring team player with great communication skills. You will be the face of the business creating a warm and welcoming experience for our wonderful clients and patients. We strive to provide excellent patient and client care and as a member of the reception team you will play a crucial part in this. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
You will be required to work 30 hours per week, with the earliest start time of 8 am and latest finish time of 7.30 pm. We value your work‑life balance and can offer longer shifts over less days or shorter shifts over more days to suit you! Due to the nature of the business we operate a rota system which will require you to work 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
