Job summary

CVS Vets is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist at Regan Veterinary Group in Goose Green, Wigan. This permanent post is 37 hours per week, with a four-day pattern and a 1:4 Saturday rota. You will handle calls, appointments, greet clients, manage insurance, and process payments using the in-house system.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a demanding, client-focused role is a must; experience in a veterinary setting is a bonus.
• Familiarity with administrative tasks, including rota scheduling and absence management is essential
• Resilience and the ability to handle emotional situations with kindness and professionalism
• Strong communication skills paired with genuine empathy
• Outstanding customer service skills and experience with the public
• Positive attitude and superior teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems

• Debt and refund management: Make necessary phone calls regarding debts, belongings, and refunds
• Client care: Ensure every client feels welcomed and valued at our practice

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

About The Role
