Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join Hook Vets on a full-time basis. The role involves greeting clients, handling enquiries, and coordinating appointments to ensure a smooth client and patient journey.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am-1pm, in Hook, Hampshire. You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to deliver a welcoming, professional experience and support the practice’s continued growth.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Hook Vets on a full-time basis.

Hook Vets is a thriving practice which has gone through exciting expansion over the last 2 years and has even more plans for future development. The practice is in a small town in Hampshire with excellent road and rail links. We are situated within a 5-minute drive of the M3, J5, and a 3-minute walk from Hook station, which is on the mainline to London Waterloo/ Southampton Central.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week
• Working Monday to Friday
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings working 8am-1pm
