Job summary

Vets for Pets in Guildford is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join a welcoming team. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am–5pm), helping front-desk duties and supporting the practice.

You will engage with clients, manage bookings and payments, and assist the clinical team. Ideal candidates are those with veterinary reception experience or strong customer service backgrounds, who are calm under pressure and highly organised.

• Supporting the clinical team to ensure the practice runs efficiently.

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and love working with animals and their owners? We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Veterinary Receptionist to join our welcoming team at Guildford Vets for Pets.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our busy practice.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with 1 in 3 Saturday (9am – 5pm)

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in a veterinary reception role (preferred but not essential)
• Customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident using IT systems and administrative software
• Passionate about animal welfare and providing exceptional client care
