Job summary

Village Vets & Meadowbank on Liverpool Road, Buckley, Wales, is seeking a Receptionist to join the team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and collaborating with clinical and non-clinical

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Village Vets & Meadowbank on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Village Vets employs more than 30 colleagues across the practice and is proud of its experienced nursing team, many of whom run their own clinics, including weight clinics, diabetic clinics, puppy parties and healthy pet checks.

Our veterinary team is equally diverse, with Vets who have special interests in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography and behaviour. We maintain excellent relationships with local referral practices and actively encourage ongoing learning through regular CPD and further training.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
