We are seeking a highly motivated full-time receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team at Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital.
You will work alongside 5 other receptionists and the Head Receptionist to provide outstanding customer service and high-quality administrative support to our team.
As the first point of contact for clients, you will greet clients, handle calls, and manage financial transactions. You will also need to acquire good product knowledge to advise clients and perform general admin duties as required.
Our RCVS-accredited Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital is expanding. We are looking for a passionate and experienced small animal veterinary surgeon with an interest in internal medicine to join our team. You will collaborate with 15 Veterinary Surgeons, 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Student Registered Nurses, and 5 Animal Nursing Assistants in our state-of-the-art hospital located on the edge of a charming Cotswold market town.
Our team includes a Specialist in Zoo & Wildlife Medicine, and Advanced Practitioners in Small Animal Medicine and ECC. We host a referral dermatologist and receive referrals nationwide for exotic pet care, radioiodine therapy for hyperthyroid cats, outpatient CT scans, and certain internal medicine and orthopaedic cases.
The hospital is fully equipped with in-house lab facilities, a DR x-ray system, dental x-ray, a 64-slice CT scanner, various endoscopes, an ultrasound scanner with colour Doppler, orthopaedic equipment, a slit lamp, a tonometer, and more.
You should be customer-focused, passionate about delivering great service, a team player, and comfortable in a busy, ever-changing environment. Previous veterinary or receptionist experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

This is a full-time role, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional Saturday shifts (1:2) from 8:30 am to 2 pm. The hourly rate is up to £12.21.
