Job summary

Harper & Keele Veterinary School seeks a suitably qualified veterinary pathologist to teach and assess within the BVetMS programme. The role covers theory and practicals, including gross post-mortems, lectures, tutorials and wet/dry labs, with travel between Harper Adams and Keele campuses.

The appointee must hold a veterinary degree (MRCVS eligible), show postgraduate focus in veterinary pathology, and have postgraduate qualifications and research experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Member (or eligible to become a Member) of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) in the UK.
• Postgraduate focus via further study or education in veterinary pathology.
• Postgraduate qualifications and experience in veterinary pathology are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a contemporary programme of teaching and learning in veterinary pathology.
• Contribute to theory and practical teaching, including gross post-mortem examinations, lectures, tutorials, and wet/dry lab practicals.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the School to integrate pathology into the BVetMS programme.
