Job summary

University of Liverpool is seeking a Veterinary Pathologist to join the Pathology Division within the Department of Veterinary Pathology and Public Health at Leahurst on the Wirral Peninsula. The role involves diagnostic services, teaching and supervision of residents, and active biomedical research collaboration.

The appointee will contribute to undergraduate teaching, postgraduate residency training schemes, and pursue research opportunities with excellent collaboration across the university.

Qualifications

  • EU/RCVS-recognised veterinary degree or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate research qualification (e.g. PhD) completed or near completion.
  • Postgraduate qualification in veterinary pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic veterinary pathology services.
  • Contribute to undergraduate teaching and postgraduate residency training.
  • Develop research projects and collaborate on biomedical research at the University.
