Job summary

Keele University is seeking a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Veterinary Sciences on a part-time basis to join the Harper & Keele Veterinary School. The role focuses on delivering small group tutorials and case-based learning across the BVetMS foundation, with eligibility for RCVS registration (MRCVS) considered essential.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching materials, support student professional development, and help deliver pathology-focused case-based learning in Year 3 while

Qualifications

• Must be a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) or eligible for RCVS registration without the value of the membership examination.
• Experience delivering small group tutorials and case-based learning within a BVetMS or equivalent programme.
• Ability to support student wellbeing, welfare and professional development through tutoring and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group tutorials and case-based learning integrated throughout the foundation phase of the BVetMS programme.
• Contribute to educational design and development of teaching materials for clinical sciences.
• Facilitate case-based learning in year 3 focusing on veterinary pathology and clinical practice preparation.
• Support student wellbeing and pastoral care alongside mentors and central services.
