Medivet in Alfreton is seeking a full-time Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team. You will provide exceptional care, support surgeries, manage admissions, and engage in nurse-led appointments.
The position includes a permanent contract, options for a 4 or 5 day work week, and a range of employee benefits including health cash plans, annual leave, and funded certificate opportunities.
At Medivet Alfreton, you’ll be part of a large, supportive team of 15 vets, an amazing head nurse, 15 nurses, and 5 receptionists, all working together to provide the best care possible.
Many of our vets hold or are working towards certificates in dermatology, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, emergency & critical care, and ophthalmology. The practice is well‑equipped with six consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, three sterile theatres, dedicated diagnostic suites, dental facilities, digital x‑ray, two staff rooms, and more. Our hospital is committed to maintaining high standards and providing excellent care to both clients and patients.
We are offering a permanent full‑time contract with the option of a 4 or 5 day week, including 1 in 8 full weekends. You will also be required to work Bank Holidays and to join our on‑call rota.
