Job summary

CVS Group is seeking a part-time Dispensary Operative to support our Animed Dispensary in the UK. You will dispense veterinary medicines, ensure accuracy, and assist with stock control while complying with regulatory standards. The role offers training, equipment like a dispensary robot, and opportunities for development.

The position is 20 weekday hours per week with potential future hours. Right to work in the UK is required; SQP qualification is desirable but not essential as full training is

Qualifications

Experience in dispensing medicines accurately and safely.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (RCVS and VMD) is preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow training.

Responsibilities

Dispense veterinary medicines and products after training.
Pick customer dispensary orders with accuracy.
Flag clinical or dispensing concerns promptly.
Maintain PPE and safe practices in the dispensary.
Keep the dispensary tidy and well-organised.
