Job summary
Boots UK is seeking a Relief Dispenser to support pharmacy teams across stores in the UK. You will assist pharmacists, dispense prescriptions, and help deliver safe healthcare services while building rapport with patients.
The role requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification, willingness to travel, and the right to work in the UK. Training is provided, with opportunities to advance into Pharmacy Technician roles or leadership tracks.
Qualifications
- Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent).
- Ability to travel across the defined geography with full flexibility.
- Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa
Responsibilities
- Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
- Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
- Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist when needed.
- Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
- Stay updated with store innovations and comply with processes.
- Help patients manage prescriptions with reliable repeats to promote adherence.
- Communicate with store teams to ensure continuity of care
