Job summary

CVS Veterinary Group in the UK is seeking a Dispensary Operative to ensure accurate dispensing of veterinary medicines, maintain stock accuracy, and comply with RCVS and VMD regulations. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, with days to be discussed and potential for additional hours in the future.

You will be trained to use our dispensary robot and scanners, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dispensary.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus on very specific and accurate dispensing duties.
• Excellent communication skills as part of a team.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; able to trouble-shoot and own queries.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Willingness to be trained in using technology such as dispensary robot and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing medication labels upon completion of training.
• Picking customer dispensary orders with high accuracy.
• Flagging any clinical or dispensing concerns.
• Maintaining PPE and safe working practices in a dispensary environment.
• Championing high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dispensary.
