Job summary

Boots Group is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and supporting safe medicines supply while upholding SOPs and compliant processes.

You will build strong patient relationships, handle repeats, and help promote adherence. A pharmacy qualification and UK right to work are required; community pharmacy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 or equivalent, or currently working toward and completed first year of MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and health options.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store technologies and processes.
• Assist patients with repeats and medicine adherence to reduce waste.
