Job summary

Covetrus is seeking a proactive Customer Service team member for our Dumfries office on a 6-month maternity cover basis. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, delivering excellent support across email, phone and live chat.

You will manage a defined customer portfolio, triage enquiries, keep customers informed during resolution, and look for opportunities to improve processes. Experience in customer service within a commercial setting and familiarity with Microsoft Office or

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, customer support, or internal sales within a commercial environment.
• Educated to Standard Grade level (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of the veterinary profession or animal health industry would be advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer support across email, phone, and live chat.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships within your assigned area.
• Manage, triage, and coordinate customer enquiries with timely resolution.
• Keep customers informed and updated throughout the resolution process.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
• Participate in training to develop product knowledge and business understanding.
• Stay up to date with product developments, business updates and internal communications.
