Labcorp is seeking a skilled Veterinary Clinical Anesthetist to join the Department of Animal Welfare and Veterinary Services at our site in Huntingdon. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can make a significant impact on human and animal health. We are open to applicants with diverse backgrounds, including Registered Veterinary Nurses, experienced Animal Technicians, or other health professionals with relevant experience in anaesthesia and a desire to learn about laboratory animals. We value applicants who enjoy teaching/mentoring, working in a well-structured environment, and are proactive and enthusiastic about new learning and development opportunities.
The post holder will provide technical support for all clinical and Animals (Scientific) Procedures Act 1986 - A(SP)A - regulated work performed at the Animal Welfare and Veterinary Services Department. This will include the provision of peri-operative surgical support for the veterinary team to ensure high standards of animal care and welfare are always maintained. This is a full-time, permanent position.
