Job Title: Veterinary Cleaner and Support Assistant (FTC)

Salary: FTE £26,437 pro rata to £23,132 per annum

Location: Peak Vets

Job Type: Part-time, Fixed Term GIVE/>

Hours: 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday (7 hours per day)

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Cleaner to join our friendly veterinary practice. You will ww play a key role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for our clients, patients, and staff.

Key Responsibilities итә>
  • Cleaning and sanitising clinical and non‑clinical areas, including consult rooms
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Cleaning waiting areas, staff areas, kitchens, toilets and pharmacy.
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
  • Using cleaning products and equipment in line with Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
  • Reporting maintenance issues to management
  • Completing required Health & Safety training (fire safety, manual handling)
  • Some light lifting required
  • Stock management of cleaning supplies and daily consumables
  • Providing ad hoc reception cover when required
About You
  • Previous cleaning experience essential (clinical setting desirable)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • Comfortable working around animals
