A veterinary service provider in Greater London is looking for a passionate Veterinary Care Assistant / Receptionist to join their Beckenham practice. This part-time role involves clinical support for animals and front-of-house responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have strong animal care, communication, and customer service skills. You'll work flexible hours, including 1 in 3 Saturdays, and enjoy a supportive work environment with various career development opportunities.

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant / Receptionist to join our Beckenham Vets for Pets practice!

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

Responsibilities

• VCA responsibilities will involve supporting with clinical care of animals, so a high standard of animal care skills and experience are required.
• Receptionist duties will include assisting all colleagues with non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care.

Part Time hours available with 1 in 3 Saturdays (Monday to Friday 8:45am – 6:45pm / Saturday 8:45am – 4:45pm)

Hours

Part-time hours: Monday to Friday 8:45am – 6:45pm, Saturday 8:45am – 4:45pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays.

• The role involves animal handling and predominantly supporting the veterinary team in all aspects of clinical practice, therefore we are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience.
• There will be significant reception and front of house responsibility with the role therefore you will also need to have strong communication and customer service skills.
