We are looking for a Veterinary Care Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team’s here at Woodland Vet Centre / Midhurst Vets.
We are ideally looking for a full-time member of the team with previous veterinary experience. Although, in house training can be provided for the perfect person to join our team.
We are situated in the beautiful South Downs, a stone’s throw away from the coast and London, giving the best of both worlds. We are an hour from both Heathrow and Gatwick Airport allowing for close transport links to Europe and beyond. Woodland Vet Centre have recently had our kennels refurbished, having a separate dog and cat ward allowing for improved patient welfare. Our sister practice at Midhurst Vets have a large preparation / kennel area, allowing constant supervision of all the patients.
We have lots of toys, to name a few, digital x-ray with a floating table, dental x-ray, a multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, blood pressure sphymomanometer, microscope, in house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, ultrasound with cardiac and an abdominal probe, laser, ECG, endoscope and tonometer.

You will have good interpersonal skills with a passion to cultivate a welcoming client facing environment. You will instinctively want to go that extra mile to provide the best care to your patients.
You will work 40 hours per week, typically a mix of 9 am–6 pm and 8 am–5pm shifts. Hours are flexible and can be adjusted, details can be discussed during the interview to best accommodate your needs.
