Job summary

Beckenham Vets for Pets is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Care Assistant / Veterinary Receptionist to join our Beckenham practice. The clinic is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and equipped with digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

The role combines clinical support with front-of-house responsibilities; experience in animal handling and strong customer service are required. Full or part-time hours are available with one in three Saturdays, located at BR3 3DY.

Qualifications

• Experience with animal handling and care.
• Ability to assist veterinary team in clinical and reception duties.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Veterinary Care Assistant / Veterinary Receptionist
Salary - £24,000 to £26,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant / Receptionist to join our Beckenham Vets for Pets practice!

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

• VCA responsibilities will involve supporting with clinical care of animals, so a high standard of animal care skills and experience are required.
• Receptionist duties will include assisting all colleagues with non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care.

Full or Part Time hours available with 1 in 3 Saturday only weekends (Monday to Friday 8:45am – 7pm / Saturday 8:45am – 5pm) Alternative hours: 5 day week 11am-7pm

• The role involves animal handling and predominantly supporting the veterinary team in all aspects of clinical practice, therefore we are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience.
  There will be significant reception and front of house responsibility with the role therefore you will also need to have strong communication and customer service skills.
