We are looking for a fantastic Veterinary Care Assistant to join out team at Downland Vets, working across our 3 East Sussex surgeries (Hailsham, Eastbourne & Stone Cross). This is a fixed-term position for approximately 12 months. The customer-facing role will include client care responsibilities, administration tasks, animal care duties and delivering a high standard of customer service.

About our group

Join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals, comprising 12 nursing staff, 6 vets, and 10 support staff across East Sussex. We take pride in our commitment to continuous learning and development, including veterinary certificate holders in ECC and geratric medicine, and a whole effort in ongoing training. You will work 40.6 hours per week across Monday – Friday, plus 1:8 Saturday mornings. You will cover a variety of shift patterns starting at 8:30 am and finishing between 4 pm – 7 pm.
