Job summary

Kingston Vet Group is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Kingston Vets team on a full-time permanent basis. You will support the clinical team and help ensure patient and client care remains of a high standard.

Working under Veterinary Surgeons or RVNs, you will assist with inpatient care, patient handling, and ensure a clean, safe practice environment while contributing to a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with animals in clinical or non-clinical settings is advantageous.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Ability to stay organized in a busy veterinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinary Surgeons and RVNs with patients and adhere to needs.
• Support inpatient care, handling and restraint of animals with care.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the practice.
• Sterilize instruments and run laboratory tests as needed.
