DNA Vetcare is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Chingford team on a maternity cover contract with a view to permanency. You will support vets and nurses, maintain a clean environment, assist with animal handling, reception duties, and help monitor anesthesia.

About The Role

Are you a proactive and dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant looking for an exciting new role? Out fantastic Vetcall Vets in Chingford are looking for a new veterinary care assistant to join their team on a maternity cover contract with a view to go permanent.

This role will give you a lot of exposure with a varied caseload!

You will be supported by our experienced management team, who will be there with you every step of the way, alongside our Vets, RVN & Support Teams.

This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week, with a light share of weekends. There are no OOH involved.

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the vet and nurse teams, by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at all times, assisting with animal handling, working on reception, and providing support to the RVN & Vets as needed. You must be comfortable and competent in monitoring low level anaesthetics.
