Job summary

DNA Vetcare's Hackney Veterinary Surgery in London is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to support the veterinary and nursing team, maintain a clean, hygienic environment, assist with animal handling, and help on reception. You will be a vital part of our trusted independent practice, delivering compassionate care for pets and their owners.

This full-time position is 40 hours per week across 5 days, with 1:5 Saturday mornings and a share of bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Veterinary Care Assistant preferred.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our fantastic team at The Hackney Veterinary Surgery.

If you’re looking to take a leap in an exciting new direction in our valued field of pet care then you should be considering a role with our independent vet team at our popular veterinary practice in Hackney, London where team spirit is high, pet care is priority and service is in your extremely capable hands.

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the vet and nurse teams by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at all times, assisting with animal handling, working on reception and providing support to the Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Surgeons as needed. You will be a vital part of our team and have the opportunity to do a variety of tasks -No two days are the same!

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week over 5 days with 1:5 Saturday mornings and a share of bank holidays. Previous experience working as a VCA is desired.
