Job summary

Sight Scotland Veterans in Livingston is seeking a compassionate support worker to join our team. You will help support colleagues and the Leadership team, welcome veterans into the centre, run skills or art classes, and assist with our events.

A PVG scheme check or criminal records check, and a clean driving licence, are required. We value individuals who enjoy working with people and creating services where everyone can participate, contribute and belong.

Qualifications

• SVQ2 qualification in health, social care, community work, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of visual impairment, sensory loss, or veterans' services.
• Experience collaborating with volunteers, community groups, or external partners.
• Experience developing activities with participants and frontline teams.
