Job summary

Scottish Veterans’ Residences in Glasgow seeks a Housing Support Worker to provide housing support to Veterans on a 37.5-hour week, on a 7-day rota. Salary band £27,883.00; place of work: Bellrock Close, Cranhill, Glasgow.

3+ years in housing support and willingness to achieve SVQ Level 2 in care with SSSC registration are required. You will work with a team to help residents achieve permanent accommodation, manage finances, access health services and stay aligned with Care Inspectorate

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in housing support or equivalent.
• Willing to work towards SVQ Level 2 in care within 18 months; register with SSSC.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake intensive housing support and other forms of support for veterans who are homeless or at risk.
• Support veterans into permanent accommodation.
• Support stability of veterans in their current accommodation.
